Jose Patricio Mayen, MD | Doctor of Medicine | Medical Operations

Patricio Mayen is dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience through compassionate service, personalized care, and operational excellence. As a member of our Medical Operations team, he works closely with patients and providers to ensure every visit is welcoming, efficient, and centered on each patient’s unique needs.
Patricio earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He completed his clinical training at teaching hospitals in Chicago, Illinois, with rotations in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine (ICU). Caring for a diverse patient population reinforced his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and strengthened his belief that every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and empathy.
Having lived in the United States, Mexico, and Spain, Patricio brings a global perspective to healthcare and values meaningful communication with patients from all backgrounds. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is passionate about Internal Medicine, preventive healthcare, Sports Medicine, and helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with confidence and compassion.
Outside of the clinic, Patricio enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, as well as sports, fitness, ranch life, and outdoor activities.

Alexandra Koter is an international medical graduate from El Salvador with extensive clinical knowledge and certification in Medical Coding and Billing. She serves as a Clinical Coordinator, supporting hospital-based patient care through clinical coordination, medical documentation, and comprehensive medical record management.
Her work includes reviewing and analyzing clinical records to promote accurate documentation, continuity of care, efficient hospital workflows, and effective utilization of healthcare resources.
By combining her medical training with expertise in documentation and healthcare operations, she helps bridge clinical care, medical records, and hospital management.
